ਜਦੁਬੀਰਅਯੋਧਨਮੈਬਲਕੈਅਰਿਬੀਰਲੀਏਸਬਹੀਬਸਿਕੈ॥੧੭੭੭॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਰਣ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਬਲ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੭੭॥
Many were pulversied with the blows of the mace and with his power Krishna subdued all the warriors in the war-arena.1777.
ਬਲਭਦ੍ਰਇਤੇਬਹੁਬੀਰਹਨੇਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਉਤੈਬਹੁਸੂਰਸੰਘਾਰੇ॥
ਇਧਰ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਧਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
On this side Balram and on the other side Krishna killed many warriors
ਜੋਸਭਜੀਤਫਿਰੇਜਗਕਉਅਰੁਗਾਢਪਰੀਨ੍ਰਿਪਕਾਮਸਵਾਰੇ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਪਰਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਕਟ ਪੈਣ ਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਸੰਵਾਰੇ ਹਨ,
The warriors, who were the conquerors of the world and were to be very useful to the king in the days o affliction,
ਤੇਘਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਅਯੋਧਨਮੈਬਿਨੁਪ੍ਰਾਨਕੀਏਅਰਿਭੂਪਰਡਾਰੇ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਉਉਪਮਾਉਪਜੀਜੀਯਮੈਕਦਲੀਮਨੋਪਉਨਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਉਖਾਰੇ॥੧੭੭੮॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਪਮਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਮਾਨੋ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਪੌਣ ਨੇ ਕੇਲੇ ਦੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਪੁਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੭੭੮॥
Krishna made them lifeless and lain them on the ground like the uprooted banana trees by the violent blowing of wind.1778.
ਜੋਰਨਮੰਡਨਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੇਸੰਗਿਭਲੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਧਾਮਨਕਉਤਜਿਧਾਏ॥
ਜੋ ਚੰਗੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ;
ਏਕਰਥੈਗਜਰਾਜਚਢੇਇਕਬਾਜਨਕੇਅਸਵਾਰਸੁਹਾਏ॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਕਈ ਰਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ (ਆਏ ਸਨ) ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ;
The kings who had left their homes and had come to fight with Krishna and who had been looking splendid while riding on their horses, elephants and chariots,
ਤੇਘਨਿਜਿਉਬ੍ਰਿਜਰਾਜਕੇਪਉਰਖਪਉਨਬਹੈਛਿਨਮਾਝਉਡਾਏ॥
ਬਦਲ ਰੂਪ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਰੂਪ ਪੌਣ ਨੇ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਉਡਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
They were destroyed by the power of Krihsna like the clouds destroyed by the wind in an instant
ਕਾਇਰਭਾਜਤਐਸੇਕਹੈਅਬਪ੍ਰਾਨਰਹੈਮਨੋਲਾਖਨਪਾਇ॥੧੭੭੯॥
(ਉਹ) ਕਾਇਰ ਭਜੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਇੰਜ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਬਚ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੭੯॥
The cowards running away and protecting their lives were considering themselves very fortunate.1779.
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੇਛੂਟਤਬਾਨਨਚਕ੍ਰਸੁਚਕ੍ਰਿਤਹੁਇਰਥਚਕ੍ਰਭ੍ਰਮਾਵਤ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੱਕਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਛੁਟਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੱਕਰਾਂ (ਪਹੀਏ) ਨੂੰ ਘੁੰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪਿਛੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ)।
Seeing the arrows and discus of Krishna being discharged, the wheels of the chariots also revolved marvelously
ਏਕਬਲੀਕੁਲਲਾਜਲੀਏਦ੍ਰਿੜਹੁਇਹਰਿਕੇਸੰਗਿਜੂਝਮਚਾਵਤ॥
ਕਈ ਇਕ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਕੁਲ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰਖਦੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The kings, considering the honour and tradition of their clans, are fighting with Krishna,
ਅਉਰਬਡੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਲੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਆਇਸਆਵਤਹੈਚਲੇਗਾਲਬਜਾਵਤ॥
ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਜਰਾਸੰਧ) ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੜਕਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
And several other kings, getting order from Jarasandh are proudly shouting and going for war
ਬੀਰਬਡੇਜਦੁਬੀਰਕਉਦੇਖਨਚਉਪਚੜੇਲਰਬੇਕਹੁਧਾਵਤ॥੧੭੮੦॥
ਕਈ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੮੦॥
Great warriors with eagerness in there mind t have to sight of Krishna, are coming for fighting.1780.
ਸ੍ਰੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਤਬੈਤਿਨਹੀਧਨੁਤਾਨਕੈਬਾਨਸਮੂਹਚਲਾਵਤ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Krishna then pulled his bow and discharged a cluster of arrows and
ਆਇਲਗੈਭਟਏਕਨਕਉਨਟਸਾਲਭਏਮਨਮੈਦੁਖੁਪਾਵਤ॥
(ਉਹ ਤੀਰ) ਕਈਆਂ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਕੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਉਹ) ਨਟਸ਼ਾਲਾ (ਦੇ ਨਟਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਕਲਾਬਾਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ) ਹੋਏ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The warriors who were his by them, writhed in great suffering
ਏਕਤੁਰੰਗਨਕੀਭੁਜਬਾਨਲਗੈਅਤਿਰਾਮਮਹਾਛਬਿਪਾਵਤ॥
ਕਈਆਂ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਟੰਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣ ਲਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਕਵੀ) ਰਾਮ (ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ,
The arrows have penetrated into the legs of the horses
ਸਾਲਮੁਨੀਸ੍ਵਰਕਾਟੇਹੁਤੇਬ੍ਰਿਜਰਾਜਮਨੋਤਿਹਪੰਖਬਨਾਵਤ॥੧੭੮੧॥
ਮਾਨੋ 'ਸਾਲ' (ਸਾਲਿਹੋਤ੍ਰ) ਮੁਨੀ ਨੇ (ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਖੰਭ) ਕਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ (ਫਿਰ) ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੭੮੧॥
These winged arrows discharged by Krishna on the bodies of the horses appears like new wings cut earlier by the sage Shalihoter.1781.

ਤਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
ਘੇਰਲਯੋਹਰਿਨੈਕੁਨਡਰੇ॥
(ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਡਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
Then all the enemies were filled with rage and they fearlessly surrounded Krishna
ਬਿਬਿਧਾਯੁਧਲੈਆਹਵਕਰੈ॥
ਵਿਵਿਧ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ
ਮਾਰਮਾਰਮੁਖਤੇਉਚਰੈ॥੧੭੮੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੮੨॥
Shouting “kill, kill, they began to fight taking up various kinds of weapons.1782.

ਕ੍ਰੁਧਤਸਿੰਘਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਸੰਭਾਰਕੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੈਸਾਮੁਹੇਟੇਰਿਉਚਾਰਿਓ॥
ਕ੍ਰੁੱਧਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੰਗਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ,
ਕੇਸਗਹੇਖੜਗੇਸਬਲੀਜਬਛਾਡਿਦਯੋਤਬਚਕ੍ਰਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ॥
ਬਲਵਾਨ ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਕੇਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਕੜ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਛਡਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ (ਤੂੰ ਫਿਰ) ਚੱਕਰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
Taking out his sword, Karodhit Singh came in front of Krishna and said, “When Kharag Singh had caught you from your hair and then released you, then you thinking of your protection, took up your discus at a distance
ਗੋਰਸਖਾਤਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨਵੈਦਿਨਭੂਲਗਏਅਬਜੁਧਬਿਚਾਰਿਓ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ) ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੁੱਧ ਮੱਖਣ ਆਦਿ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਦਿਨ (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਭੁਲ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
“You drank the milk in the houses of milkmaids, have you forgotten those days? And now you have made up your mind to fight”
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਜਦੁਬੀਰਕਉਮਾਨਹੁਬੈਨਨਬਾਨਨਕੈਸੰਗਿਮਾਰਿਓ॥੧੭੮੩॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ (ਉਸ ਕ੍ਰੁੱਧਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੮੩॥
The poet says that Karodhit Singh appeared to be killing Krishna with the arrows of his words.1783.
ਇਉਸੁਨਕੈਬਤੀਯਾਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਇਕਕੋਪਕੀਓਕਰਿਚਕ੍ਰਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚੱਕਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਨੈਕੁਭ੍ਰਮਾਇਕੈਪਾਨਬਿਖੈਬਲਿਕੈਅਰਿਗ੍ਰੀਵਕੇਊਪਰਡਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਥੋੜਾ ਘੁੰਮਾ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ (ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ) ਗਰਦਨ ਉਪਰ ਵਗਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
Hearing these words, Krihsna, getting enraged, held up his discus and exhibiting his anger through his eyes, discharged it on the neck of the enemy
ਲਾਗਤਸੀਸੁਕਟਿਯੋਤਿਹਕੋਗਿਰਭੂਮਿਪਰਿਯੋਜਸੁਸਿਆਮਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਲਗਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਕਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਮੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ। (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਉਪਮਾ (ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹੀ ਹੈ,
ਤਾਰਕੁੰਭਾਰਲੈਹਾਥਬਿਖੈਮਨੋਚਾਕਕੇਕੁੰਭਤੁਰੰਤਉਤਾਰਿਯੋ॥੧੭੮੪॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਕੁੰਮਿਹਾਰ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੱਕ ਉਪਰੋਂ ਤੁਰਤ ਘੜਾ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੮੪॥
On being hit by the discus, his head fell down on the earth like a potter taking down the pitcher from the wheel, cutting it with his wire.1784.
ਜੁਧਕੀਓਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਕੈਸਾਥਸੁਸਤ੍ਰੁਬਿਦਾਰਕਹੈਜਗਜਾਕਉ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ 'ਸਤ੍ਰੁ-ਬਿਦਾਰ' ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਏ (ਯੋਧੇ ਨੇ) ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ।
Famous by the name of Shatru-hanta (killer of the enemies), Karodhit Singh fought with Krishna, who made this warrior lifeless
ਜਾਦਸਹੂੰਦਿਸਜੀਤਲਈਛਿਨਮੈਬਿਨੁਪ੍ਰਾਨਕੀਓਹਰਿਤਾਕਉ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਿਤ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਛਿਣ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
This warrior had earlier been the conqueror of all the ten directions
ਜੋਤਿਮਿਲੀਤਿਹਕੀਪ੍ਰਭੁਸਿਉਜਿਮਦੀਪਕਕ੍ਰਾਤਿਮਿਲੈਰਵਿਭਾਕਉ॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੀਵੇ ਦੀ ਲੋ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
His soul merged in the Lord like the light of the earthen lamp with the light of the sun
ਸੂਰਜਮੰਡਲਛੇਦਕੈਭੇਦਕੈਪ੍ਰਾਨਗਏਹਰਿਧਾਮਦਸਾਕਉ॥੧੭੮੫॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸੂਰਜ ਮੰਡਲ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ-ਧਾਮ (ਬੈਕੁੰਠ) ਵਲ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੮੫॥
Touching the sphere of the sun, his soul reached the Supreme abode.1785.
ਸਤ੍ਰੁਬਿਦਾਰਹਨਿਓਜਬਹੀਤਬਸ੍ਰੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਭੂਖਨਕੋਪਭਰਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ-ਬਿਦਾਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਤਦੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ।
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੇਤਜਿਕੈਸਬਸੰਕਨਿਸੰਕਹੁਇਬੈਰਨਮਾਝਪਰਿਯੋਹੈ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਾਰਾ ਸੰਗ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਧਸ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Killing this enemy, Krishna being highly enraged, forsaking all hesitation’s jumped into the enemy’s army
ਭੈਰਵਭੂਪਸਿਉਜੁਧਕੀਓਸੁਵਹੈਛਿਨਮੈਬਿਨੁਪ੍ਰਾਨਕਰਿਯੋਹੈ॥
'ਭੈਰਵ' (ਨਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ) ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਭੂਮਿਗਿਰਿਯੋਰਥਤੇਇਹਭਾਤਿਮਨੋਨਭਤੇਗ੍ਰਹਟੂਟਿਪਰਿਯੋਹੈ॥੧੭੮੬॥
(ਉਹ) ਰਥ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੂਮੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਮਾਨੋ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਰਾ ਟੁਟ ਕੇ (ਭੂਮੀ ਉਤੇ) ਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੮੬॥
He fought with king Bhairav Singh and killed him also in an instant and he fell down on the ground from his chariot like planet breaking and falling down from the sky.1786.
ਏਕਭਰੇਭਟਸ੍ਰੌਨਤਸੋਭਭਕਾਰਤਘਾਇਫਿਰੈਰਨਿਡੋਲਤ॥
ਕਈ ਯੋਧੇ ਲਹੂ ਲੁਹਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਘੁੰਮਦੇ ਫਿਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ (ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਭਕ ਭਕ ਕਰਦਾ (ਲਹੂ ਵਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ)।
The warriors are roaming in the battlefield, saturated with blood and with wounds full of pus
ਏਕਪਰੇਗਿਰਕੈਧਰਨੀਤਿਨਕੇਤਨਜੰਬੁਕਗੀਧਕਢੋਲਤ॥
ਕਈ (ਯੋਧੇ) ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਗਿਰਝਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਦੜ ਖਿਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ
Some have fallen on the earth and their bodies are being pulled by jackals and vultures
ਏਕਨਕੇਮੁਖਿਓਠਨਆਂਖਨਕਾਗਸੁਚੋਚਨਸਿਉਟਕਟੋਲਤ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹਾਂ, ਹੋਠਾਂ, ਅੱਖਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਟਕ ਟਕ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨੋਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਏਕਨਕੀਉਰਿਆਂਤਨਕੋਕਢਿਜੋਗਨਿਹਾਥਨਸਿਉਝਕਝੋਲਤ॥੧੭੮੭॥
ਕਈਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੇਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਂਦਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਛਾਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੮੭॥
The crows are pulling with force the eyes and faces of many and the Yoginis are shaking in the hands the intestines of many others.1787.
ਮਾਨਭਰੇਅਸਿਪਾਨਿਧਰੇਚਹੂੰਓਰਨਤੇਬਹੁਰੋਅਰਿਆਏ॥
ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਏ ਹੋਏ ਵੈਰੀ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਰ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Taking their swords in their hands, the enemies fell upon Krishna’s army proudly from all the four directions
ਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੇਬੀਰਜਿਤੇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਇਤਤੇਤੇਊਧਾਏ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਯੋਧੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇਧਰੋਂ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ) ਜਾ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
From this side Krishna’s warriors advanced,
ਬਾਨਨਸੈਥਿਨਅਉਕਰਵਾਰਿਹਕਾਰਿਹਕਾਰਿਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਲਗਾਏ॥
(ਉਹ) ਬਾਣਾਂ, ਸੈਹਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੰਗਾਰ ਵੰਗਾਰ ਕੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਕ ਆ ਕੇ ਖਹਿਬੜਦੇ ਹਨ,
And challenging the enemy began to strike blows with their arrows, swords and daggers
ਆਇਖਏਇਕਜੀਤਲਏਇਕਭਾਜਿਗਏਇਕਮਾਰਿਗਿਰਾਏ॥੧੭੮੮॥
ਇਕ ਜਿਤ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਇਕ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੮੮॥
Those who come to fight, they are conquered, but many have fled away and many are being knocked down.1788.
ਜੇਭਟਆਹਵਮੈਕਬਹੂੰਅਰਿਕੈਲਰਿਕੈਪਗੁਏਕਨਟਾਰੇ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੜ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟੇ ਸਨ,
Those warriors who did not even retrace one step while fighting
