ਜੀਤਿਫਿਰੈਸਭਦੇਸਨਕਉਸੋਊਭਾਜਿਗਏਜਿਹਓਰਿਨਿਹਾਰੇ॥
(ਜਿਹੜੇ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਪਰਤੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਧਰ ਵੀ (ਰਾਹ) ਵੇਖਿਆ, (ਉਧਰ ਨੂੰ) ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Those who conquered all the countries and wherever they looked, the enemies fled away
ਜੋਜਮਕੇਸੰਗਿਜੂਝਕਰੈਤਬਅੰਤਕਤੇਨਹਿਜਾਤਨਿਵਾਰੇ॥
ਜੋ ਯਮ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਯਮਰਾਜ ਤੋਂ ਪਿਛੇ ਹਟਾਏ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਸਨ,
ਤੇਭਟਜੂਝਿਪਰੇਰਨਮੈਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੇਕੋਪਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਕੇਮਾਰੇ॥੧੭੮੯॥
ਉਹ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮੂਧੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੮੯॥
Who even fought with Yama and whom not even the god of death could kill, those warriors have been killed and laid down on the earth, by the angry sword of Krishna.1789.
ਏਕਹੁਤੋਬਲਬੀਰਬਡੋਜਦੁਬੀਰਲਿਲਾਟਮੈਬਾਨਲਗਾਯੋ॥
ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਸੀ, (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਫੋਕਰਹੀਗਡਿਭਉਹਨਿਮੈਸਰੁਛੇਦਸਭੈਸਿਰਪਾਰਪਰਾਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ ਬਾਣ ਦੀ) ਫੋਕ ਭੌਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਗੱਡੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣ ਸਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੇਕ ਕੇ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
A mighty warrior of the enemy’s army shot one arrow on the forehead of Krishna, whose shell remained fixed in the eyebrows, but the arrow pierced through the head to the other side
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਉਪਮਾਤਿਹਕੀਬਰਘਾਇਲਗੇਬਹੁਸ੍ਰੋਨਬਹਾਯੋ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਘਾਓ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਲਹੂ ਵਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ,
ਮਾਨਹੁਇੰਦ੍ਰਪੈਕੋਪੁਕੀਯੋਸਿਵਤੀਸਰੇਨੈਨਕੋਤੇਜਦਿਖਾਯੋ॥੧੭੯੦॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਇੰਦਰ ਉਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਨੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੯੦॥
According to the poet, good deal of blood flowed out from that wound and it seemed that Shiva in anger had shown to Indra the light of his third eye.1790.
ਜਦੁਬੀਰਮਹਾਰਨਧੀਰਜਬੈਸੁਧਵਾਇਪਰੇਰਥਇਉਕਹਿਕੈ॥
ਮਹਾਨ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾ ਪਏ ਕਿ
ਬਲਿਦਛਨਓਰਿਨਿਹਾਰਕਿਤੋਦਲਧਾਯੋਹੈਸਸਤ੍ਰਸਬੈਗਹਿਕੈ॥
ਹੇ ਬਲਰਾਮ! ਦੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵਲ ਵੇਖ ਕਿ ਕਿਤਨੀ ਹੀ ਵੈਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆ ਪਈ ਹੈ।
Getting his chariot driven, Krishna moved away saying this, “Look, Balram! the enemy’s army is marching forward enormously from the South,”
ਬਤੀਯਾਸੁਨਿਸੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਇਕਕੀਹਲਸੋਬਲਿਧਾਇਲੀਏਚਹਿਕੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਬਲਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਨਾਲ 'ਹਲ' ਫੜ ਲਿਆ (ਅਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ)।
ਤਿਹਕੋਅਤਿਸ੍ਰੋਨਪਰਿਓਭੂਅਮੈਮਨੋਸਾਰਸੁਤੀਸੁਚਲੀਬਹਿਕੈ॥੧੭੯੧॥
ਉਸ (ਵੈਰੀ) ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਲਹੂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਮਾਨੋ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਨਦੀ ਵਗ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੯੧॥
Listening to the words of Krishna, Balram carrying his plough in great zeal, marched towards that side and so much blood of that army flowed that the Saraswati seemed flow on the earth.1791.
ਏਕਨਿਹਾਰਭਯੋਅਤਿਆਹਵਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਤਜਿਕੈਰਨਭਾਗੇ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਬਹੁਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਈ (ਯੋਧੇ) ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Many warriors seeing the dreadfulness of war, fled away
ਘਾਇਲਘੂਮਤਏਕਫਿਰੈਮਨੋਨੀਦਘਨੀਨਿਸਿਕੇਕਹੂੰਜਾਗੇ॥
ਕਈ ਇਕ ਘਾਇਲ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਘੁੰਮਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਜਾਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਨੀਂਦਰੇ ਹੋਣ।
Many of them getting wounded and weak are roaming many of them getting wounded and wak are roaming like the ones having kept awake for several nights
ਪਉਰਖਵੰਤਬਡੇਭਟਏਕਸੁਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੋਜੁਧਹੀਕਉਅਨੁਰਾਗੇ॥
ਕਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ (ਕੇਵਲ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਇਛੁਕ ਹਨ।
ਏਕਤ੍ਯਾਗਕੈਸਸਤ੍ਰਸਬੈਜਦੁਰਾਇਕੇਆਇਕੈਪਾਇਨਲਾਗੈ॥੧੭੯੨॥
ਕਈ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੯੨॥
Many great warriors and masters of great strength are absorbed only on fighting with Krishna and many, abandoning their weapons have fallen at the feet of Krishna.1792.

ਜਦੋਂ ਵੈਰੀ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਭਜ ਗਏ
ਅਉਰਸੂਰਆਵਤਭਏਕਰਵਾਰਿਨਚਮਕਾਇ॥੧੭੯੩॥
(ਤਦੋਂ) ਹੋਰ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਚਮਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆ ਗਏ ॥੧੭੯੩॥
When, becoming fearful, the enemies ran away, many other warriors reached there, gleaming their swords.1793.

ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਧਾਵਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਚ੍ਰਕਗਹਿਓਕਰਮੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਇਕਕੋਪਭਯੋਤਿਹਊਪਰਧਾਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚੱਕਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਟੁਟ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Holding their weapons, the enemies fell upon Krishna and on this side, Krishna taking his discus in his hand, ran towards them
ਬੀਰਕੀਏਬਿਨੁਪ੍ਰਾਨਘਨੇਅਰਿਸੈਨਸਬੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਭਜਾਯੋ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ-ਹੀਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ
ਪਉਨਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਸਮਾਨਸੁਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਮਨੋਉਮਡਿਓਦਲੁਮੇਘਉਡਾਯੋ॥੧੭੯੪॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਤੇਜ਼ ਪੌਣ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਦਲ ਰੂਪ ਵੈਰੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਡਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੯੪॥
He killed many warriors and caused the enemy’s army to flee like the violent Krihsna-wind had caused clouds to fly away.1794.
ਕਾਟਤਏਕਨਕੇਸਿਰਚਕ੍ਰਗਦਾਗਹਿਦੂਜਨਕੇਤਨਝਾਰੈ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚੱਕਰ ਨਾਲ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਗਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਝਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
