ਸੁਤਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਕੇਯੌਬਤੀਯਾਸੁਨਿਕੈਆਪਨੇਚਿਤਮੈਅਤਿਕ੍ਰੋਧਬਢਾਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਪ੍ਰਦੁਮਨ) ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਧਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਗਦਾਗਹਿਕੈਅਰਿਕੇਬਧਕਾਰਨਧਾਯੋ॥
ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਦਾ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ (ਸੰਬਰ ਦੈਂਤ) ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਜ ਪਿਆ।
Hearing these words, the son of Krishna got extremely enraged and catching hold of bow, arrows and mace moved to kill the enemy
ਧਾਮਜਹਾਤਿਹਬੈਰੀਕੋਥੇਤਿਹਦ੍ਵਾਰਪੈਜਾਇਕੈਬੈਨਸੁਨਾਯੋ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਉਸ ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਰ ਉਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ (ਇਹ) ਬੋਲ ਸੁਣਾਏ,
ਜਾਹਿਕਉਸਿੰਧੁਮੈਡਾਰਦਯੋਅਬਸੋਤੁਹਿਸੋਲਰਬੇਕਹੁਆਯੋ॥੨੦੨੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ (ਤੂੰ) ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਓਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੦੨੬॥
He began to challenge the enemy on reaching his place, “The one whom you had thrown into the sea, has now come to fight with you.2026.
ਯੌਜਬਬੈਨਕਹੁਸੁਤਸ੍ਯਾਮਤੋਸੰਬਰਸਸਤ੍ਰਗਦਾਗਹਿਆਯੋ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਦ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਪ੍ਰਦੁਮਨ) ਨੇ ਬੋਲ ਕਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਬਰ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਗਦਾ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
When the son of Krishna uttered these words, then Shamber came forward holding his weapons including the mace
ਜੈਸੇਕਹੀਬਿਧਿਜੁਧਹਿਕੀਤਿਹਭਾਤਿਸੋਤਾਹੀਨੇਜੁਧਮਚਾਯੋ॥
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਕਹੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਇਆ।
He began the fight, keeping before him the norms of fighting
ਆਪਭਜਿਯੋਨਹਿਤਾਭੂਅਤੇਨਹਿਵਾਹਿਕਉਤ੍ਰਾਸਦੈਪੈਗੁਭਜਾਯੋ॥
ਉਹ ਆਪ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਭਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ (ਪ੍ਰਦੁਮਨ) ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾ ਕੇ (ਇਕ) ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਭਜਾ ਸਕਿਆ।
He did not run away from the battle and began to frighten Pradyumna in order to restrain him from fighting
ਆਹਵਯਾਬਿਧਿਹੋਤਭਯੋਕਹਿਕੈਇਹਭਾਤਸੋਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੁਨਾਯੋ॥੨੦੨੭॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ, (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ (ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੦੨੭॥
According to the poet Shyam, in this way, this battle continued there.2027.
ਅਤਿਹੀਤਿਹਠਾਜਬਮਾਰਮਚੀਅਰਿਜਾਤਭਯੋਨਭਿਮੈਛਲੁਕੈਕੈ॥
ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਜਦ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੋਈ, (ਤਾਂ) ਵੈਰੀ ਛਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਲੈਕਰਿਪਾਹਨਬ੍ਰਿਸਟਕਰੀਸੁਤਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੇਪੈਅਤਿਕ੍ਰੁਧਤਹ੍ਵੈਕੈ॥
(ਉਥੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਤੇ ਅਤਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਥਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਵਰਖਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
When the dreadful fighting continued there, the enemy deceptively reached the sky and from there he showered stones on the son of Krishna
ਸੋਇਨਪਾਹਨਬਿਅਰਥਕਰੇਤਿਨਕੋਸਰਏਕਹਿਏਕਲਗੈਹੈ॥
ਉਸ (ਪ੍ਰਦੁਮਨ) ਨੇ ਇਕ ਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਇਕ ਬਾਣ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਸਸਤ੍ਰਨਸੋਤਿਹਕੋਤਨਬੇਧਕੈਭੂਮਿਡਰਿਓਅਤਿਰੋਸਬਢੈਕੈ॥੨੦੨੮॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੦੨੮॥
Pradyumna made those stones harmless with his arrows by intercepting them and pierced his body with his weapons, causing him to fall on the ground.2028.
ਅਸਿਐਚਿਝਟਾਕਲਯੋਕਟਿਤੇਸਿਰਿਸੰਬਰਕੈਸੁਝਟਾਕਦੇਝਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਦੁਮਨ ਨੇ) ਤੁਰਤ ਲਕ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਖਿਚ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਝਟਕਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸੰਬਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਝਾੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
Pradyumna struck his sword with a jerk and cutting the head of Shambar threw it down
ਦੇਵਨਕੇਗਨਹੇਰਤਜੇਤਿਨਪਉਰਖਦੇਖਕੈਧੰਨਿਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਟੋਲੇ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ (ਪ੍ਰਦੁਮਨ ਦੀ) ਮਰਦਾਨਗੀ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਕਿਹਾ।
The gods, seeing such a bravery, hailed him
ਭੂਮਿਗਿਰਾਇਦਯੋਕੈਬਿਮੁਛਿਤਸ੍ਰੋਨਸੰਬੂਹਧਰਾਪੈਬਿਥਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦੁਮਨ ਨੇ) ਬੇਸੁਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਦਾ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਫੈਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਦੇ ਇਕ (ਝਟਕੇ ਨਾਲ) ਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੦੨੯॥

ਅਥਪਰਦੁਮਨਸੰਬਰਕੋਬਧਿਰੁਕਮਿਨਕੋਮਿਲੇ॥

ਰੁਕਮਿਨਿਕੋਗ੍ਰਿਹਥੋਜਹਾਤਹਿਹੀਪਹੁੰਚੀਆਇ॥੨੦੩੧॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਰੁਕਮਨੀ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਸੀ, ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਜਾ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ॥੨੦੩੧॥
