ਮਾਰਤਹਉਤੁਮਕੌਅਬਹੀਰਹੁਠਾਢਅਰੇਇਹਭਾਤਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਗਾਰਦੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ਓਇ! ਖੜਾ ਰਹਿ, ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣੇ ਹੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
He said, “O king! stay there, I shall kill you now
ਯੌਕਹਿਕੈਪੁਨਿਸਾਰੰਗਕੋਤਨਿਕੈਸਰਸਤ੍ਰਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਮਹਿਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥੨੧੩੭॥
ਇੰਜ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਰੰਗ (ਧਨੁਸ਼) ਨੂੰ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣ ਮਾਰਿਆ ॥੨੧੩੭॥
” Saying this and pulling his bow, he discharged an arrow into the heart of the enemy.2137.
ਸਾਰੰਗਤਾਨਿਜਬੈਅਰਿਕੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਇਕਤੀਛਨਬਾਨਚਲਾਯੋ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੰਗ (ਧਨੁਸ਼) ਨੂੰ ਤਣ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ (ਨਿਸ਼ਾਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ) ਤਿਖਾ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
ਲਾਗਤਹੀਗਿਰਭੂਮਿਭੂਮਾਸੁਰਝੂਮਿਪਰਿਯੋਜਮਲੋਕਿਸਿਧਾਯੋ॥
(ਤਦੋਂ ਬਾਣ) ਲਗਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਭੂਮਾਸੁਰ ਘੁੰਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਮਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
When pulling his bow, Krishna discharged his sharp arrow, then being hit by the arrow, Bhumasura swung and fell down on the ground and went to the abode of Yama

ਉਸ ਬਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਲਹੂ ਤਕ ਨਾ ਲਗਾ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਨਾਲ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ
ਜੋਗਕੇਸਾਧਕਜਿਉਤਨਤਿਯਾਗਿਚਲਿਯੋਨਭਿਪਾਪਨਭੇਟਨਪਾਯੋ॥੨੧੩੮॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਸਾਧਕ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਛੋਹ ਤਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੧੩੮॥
The arrow penetrated through his body with such swiftness that even the blood could not smear it and he like the one engaged in Yogic discipline, abandoned his body and sins, went away to heaven.2138.

ਜਦ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਤਦ ਭੂਮਾਸੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਭਜੀ ਆਈ।
ਭੂਮਿਕੈਊਪਰਝੂਮਿਗਿਰੀਸੁਧਿਬਸਤ੍ਰਨਕੀਚਿਤਤੇਬਿਸਰਾਈ॥
ਭੂਮਾਸੁਰ ਉਤੇ ਘੁੰਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਈ ਅਤੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਸ਼ ਵੀ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਰਹੀ।
When Bhumasura passed through such a phase, then his mother came and paying no attention to her clothes etc., she became unconscious and fell upon the earth
ਪਾਇਨਡਾਰਤਭੀਪਨੀਆਸੁਉਤਾਵਲਸੋਚਲਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਪੈਆਈ॥
ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁਤੀ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਪਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਹਲ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੋਲ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਈ।
ਦੇਖਤਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੋਰੀਝਿਰਹੀਦੁਖਭੂਲਿਗਯੋਸੁਤੋਕੀਨਬਡਾਈ॥੨੧੩੯॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਰੀਝ ਗਈ, (ਸਾਰੇ) ਦੁਖ ਭੁਲ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕੀਤੀ ॥੨੧੩੯॥
She being greatly worried, came with bare feet to Krishna and seeing him, she forgot her affliction and became pleased.2139.

(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਬਹੁਤ ਉਸਤਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਪਉਤ੍ਰਆਨਿਪਾਇਨਡਰਿਯੋਸੋਲੀਨੋਬਖਸਾਇ॥੨੧੪੦॥
ਪੋਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਵਾ ਲਿਆ ॥੨੧੪੦॥
She praised Krishna and pleased him and her son(s) fell on the feet of Krihsna, whom he pardoned and set him free.2140.

ਉਸ (ਭੂਮਾਸੁਰ) ਦੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ) ਬੰਦੀਖਾਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ।
ਸੋਲਹਸਹੰਸ੍ਰਭੂਪਨਕੀਦੁਹਿਤਾਥੀਜਹਾਤਿਹਠਉਰਹਿਆਯੋ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੁੱਤਰੀਆਂ (ਕੈਦ) ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਆਏ।
Placing his son on his throne, Krishna reached that place, where sixteen thousand princesses were imprisoned by Bhumasura
ਸੁੰਦਰਹੇਰਿਕੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਜੂਕਉਤਿਨਤ੍ਰੀਅਨਕੋਅਤਿਚਿਤਲੁਭਾਯੋ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ (ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀਆਂ) ਦਾ ਚਿਤ ਲੋਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਯਾਲਖਿਪਾਇਬਿਵਾਹਸਭੋਕਰਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਜਸੁਡੰਕਬਜਾਯੋ॥੨੧੪੧॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਸਭ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਯਸ਼ ਦਾ ਡੰਕਾ ਵਜਾਇਆ ॥੨੧੪੧॥
Seeing the beauty of Krishna, the mind of those women was allured and Krishna also seeing their desire, married all of them and for this he received universal praise.2141.

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਖੀ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਤਕ ਦਸਾਂ।
All of them whom Bhumasura had gathered there, what about those women should I relate here
ਤਿਨਿਯੌਕਹਿਯੋਇਹੀਹਉਕਰਿਹੋ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਇਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਕਹਾਂਗਾ)
ਬੀਸਹਜਾਰਏਕਠੀਬਰਿਹੋ॥੨੧੪੨॥
ਕਿ ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਵਿਆਹਵਾਂਗਾ ॥੨੧੪੨॥
Krishna said, “According to their desire, I shall marry the twenty thousand women together.”2142.

ਅਤੇ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਆਂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈਆਂ ਸਨ ॥੨੧੪੩॥
After getting enraged and killing Bhumasura in the battle, Krishna married sixteen thousand beautiful women together.2143.

ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟਿਆ।
ਰਾਜੁਦਯੋਫਿਰਿਤਾਸੁਤਕੋਸੁਖੁਦੇਤਭਯੋਤਿਨਸੋਕਨਿਵਾਰੇ॥
ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਗ਼ਮ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Getting furious in the war, Krishna killed all his enemies in an instant and giving kingdom to the son of Bhumasura, he removed his sufferings
ਫੇਰਿਬਰਿਯੋਤ੍ਰੀਅਸੋਰਹਸਹੰਸ੍ਰਸੁਤਾਪੁਰਮੈਅਤਿਕੈਕੈਅਖਾਰੇ॥
ਫਿਰ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ) ਕੌਤਕ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਬਿਪਨਦਾਨਦੈਲੈਤਿਨਕੋਸੰਗਿਦੁਆਰਵਤੀਜਦੁਰਾਇਸਿਧਾਰੇ॥੨੧੪੪॥
ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੁਆਰਿਕਾ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ॥੨੧੪੪॥
Then after the war he married sixteen thousand women and bestowing gifts on the Brahmins, Krishna returned to Dwarka.2144.
ਸੋਰਹਸਹੰਸ੍ਰਕਉਸੋਰਹਸਹੰਸ੍ਰਹੀਧਾਮਦੀਏਸੁਹੁਲਾਸਬਢੈਕੈ॥
ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ (ਪਤਨੀਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੀ ਘਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਦੇਤਭਯੋਸਭਤ੍ਰੀਅਨਕੋਸੁਖਰੂਪਅਨੇਕਨਭਾਤਿਬਨੈਕੈ॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
He got constructed sixteen thousand houses for the sixteen thousand women and provided comfort to all
ਐਸੇਲਖਿਯੋਸਭਹੂੰਹਮਰੇਗ੍ਰਿਹਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਸੈਨਬਸੈਅਨਤੈਕੈ॥
ਸਭ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਹੀ ਵਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਸਦੇ।
ਸੋਕਬਸ੍ਯਾਮਪੁਰਾਨਨਤੇਸੁਨਿਭੇਦੁਕਹਿਯੋਸਭਸੰਤਸੁਨੈਕੈ॥੨੧੪੫॥
ਸੋ ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਾਣਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਭੇਦ (ਦੀ ਗੱਲ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੨੧੪੫॥
Everyone of them wanted Krishna to abide with her and the description of this episode the poet has recorded after reading and listening to Puranas for the sake of Saints.2145.

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਖ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਫਿਰ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ।
In this way, providing comfort to those women, Krishna went to the abode of Indra
ਕੰਕਨਕੁੰਡਲਦੇਤਭਯੋਤਿਹਪਾਇਕੈਸੋਕਸਭੈਬਿਸਰਾਯੋ॥
(ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ) ਕੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੰਡਲ ਭੇਟਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗ਼ਮ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
Indra gave him coat of mail (Kavach) and ringlets (Kundal) which remove all sorrows
ਸੁੰਦਰਏਕਪਿਖਿਯੋਤਹਰੂਖਤਿਹੀਪਰਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੋਚਿਤਲੁਭਾਯੋ॥
ਉਥੇ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਇਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਉਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਚਿਤ ਲੁਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
Krishna saw there a beautiful tree and he asked Indra to give the tree

(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ) ਮੰਗ ਲਿਆ, (ਪਰ) ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। (ਫਲਸਰੂਪ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੧੪੬॥
When Indra did not give the tree, then Krishna began a war with him.2146.
ਰਿਸਿਸਾਜਿਪੁਰੰਦਰਸੈਨਚੜਿਯੋਚਲਿਕੈਸਭਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੇਸਾਮੁਹੇਆਏ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਸੈਨਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ (ਸੈਨਾ) ਚਲ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਗਈ।
He also, in fury, brought his army and attacked Krishna
ਘੋਰਤਮੇਘਲਸੈਚਪਲਾਬਰਖਾਬਰਸੇਰਥਸਾਜਬਨਾਏ॥
ਬਦਲ ਗਜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਬਰਖਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
On all the four sides were seen moving the chariots when the clouds thundered and the lighting flashed
ਦ੍ਵਾਦਸਸੂਰਸਬੈਉਮਡੈਬਸੁਰਾਵਨਸੇਜਿਨਹੂਬਿਚਲਾਏ॥
ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਵੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਮਡ ਪਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਸੁ (ਦੇਵਤੇ) ਅਤੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਵਰਗਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਲਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। (ਅਰਥਾਂਤਰ-ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਵਰਗਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ)।
