ਅਉਰਭੁਜਾਕਟਿਕੈਤੁਮਰੀਸਬਦ੍ਵੈਭੁਜਰਾਖਿਤ੍ਵੈਪ੍ਰਾਨਬਚੈਹੈ॥੨੨੧੨॥
ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਕਟ ਕੇ, (ਕੇਵਲ) ਦੋ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਰਖ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ ॥੨੨੧੨॥
He will chop all your arms except the two and release you alive.”2212.
ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀਕੀਬਾਤਨਮਾਨਤਭਯੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਆਪਨੋਓਜਅਖੰਡਜਨਾਯੋ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਖੰਡ ਤੇਜ ਜਤਾਇਆ।
Not accepting the advice of his minister, the king considered his power as indestructible
ਸਸਤ੍ਰਸੰਭਾਰਕੈਹਾਥਨਮੈਫੁਨਿਬੀਰਨਮੈਅਤਿਹੀਗਰਬਾਯੋ॥
ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਸੂਰਵੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਬਹੁਤ ਗਰਬ ਕੀਤਾ।
Taking up his weapons, he began to move amongst the warriors
ਸੈਨਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਹੁਤੋਜਿਤਨੋਤਿਸਕਉਨ੍ਰਿਪਆਪਨੇਧਾਮਿਬੁਲਾਯੋ॥
ਜਿਤਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਸੈਨਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਰੁਦ੍ਰਮਨਾਇਜਨਾਇਘਨੋਬਲੁਸ੍ਯਾਮਜੂਸੋਲਰਬੈਕਹੁਧਾਯੋ॥੨੨੧੩॥
ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਚਲ ਪਿਆ ॥੨੨੧੩॥
He called his powerful army near him and started moving for fighting with Krishna with all his strength after worshipping Shiva.2213.
ਉਤਸ੍ਯਾਮਜੂਬਾਨਚਲਾਵਤਭਯੋਇਤਤੇਦਸਸੈਭੁਜਬਾਨਚਲਾਏ॥
ਉਧਰੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਧਰੋਂ ਦਸ ਸੌ ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ (ਰਾਜਾ) ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
On this side, Krishna is discharging his arrows and from that side Sahasrabahu is doing the same
ਜਾਦਵਆਵਤਭੇਉਤਤੇਇਤਤੇਇਨਕੇਸਭਹੀਭਟਧਾਏ॥
ਉਧਰੋਂ ਯਾਦਵ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਧਰੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਆ ਧਮਕੇ ਹਨ।
From that side Yadavas were coming and from this side, the warriors of the king fell upon them
ਘਾਇਕਰੈਮਿਲਆਪਸਮੈਤਿਨਯੌਉਪਮਾਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੁਨਾਏ॥
ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਪਰਸਪਰ) ਵਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ; ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਮਾਨਹੁਫਾਗੁਨਕੀਰੁਤਿਭੀਤਰਖੇਲਨਬੀਰਬਸੰਤਹਿਆਏ॥੨੨੧੪॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਫਗਣ ਦੀ ਰੁਤ ਵਿਚ, ਯੁੱਧ ਵੀਰ ਬਸੰਤ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੨੨੧੪॥
They were mutually inflicting like the warriors roaming and playing Holi in spring season.2214.
ਏਕਭਿਰੇਕਰਵਾਰਿਨਸੌਭਟਏਕਭਿਰੇਬਰਛੀਕਰਿਲੈਕੈ॥
ਇਕ ਯੋਧੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਬਰਛੀਆਂ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਏਕਕਟਾਰਿਨਸੰਗਭਿਰੇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਅਤਿਰੋਸਿਬਢੈਕੈ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੋਸ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਕਟਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਿੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
Someone is fighting with the sword, someone with the lance someone with the dagger in great anger
ਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਨਕਉਇਕਬੀਰਸੰਭਾਰਤਭੇਅਤਿਕ੍ਰੁਧਤਹ੍ਵੈਕੈ॥
ਇਕ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਮਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਉਤੁਕਦੇਖਤਭਯੋਉਤਭੂਪਇਤੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਇਕਆਨੰਦਕੈਕੈ॥੨੨੧੫॥
ਉਧਰ ਰਾਜਾ (ਸਹਸ੍ਰਬਾਹੁ) ਅਤੇ ਇਧਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ (ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ) ਕੌਤਕ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੨੧੫॥
Someone taking his bow and arrows is getting enraged, from that side the king and from this side Krishna, are seeing this spectacle.2215.
ਜਾਭਟਆਹਵਮੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਭਗਵਾਨਸੋਜੁਧੁਮਚਾਯੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਯੋਧੇ ਨੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਇਆ,
ਤਾਹੀਕੋਏਕਹੀਬਾਨਸੋਸ੍ਯਾਮਧਰਾਪਰਿਕੈਬਿਨੁਪ੍ਰਾਨਗਿਰਾਯੋ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੋ ਹੀ ਬਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Those warriors who fought with Krishna, they were knocked down by Krishna and thrown on the earth with a single arrow
ਜੋਧਨੁਬਾਨਿਸੰਭਾਰਿਬਲੀਕੋਊਅਉਇਹਕੇਰਿਸਿਊਪਰਆਯੋ॥
ਜੋ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਉਤੇ ਹਮਲਾਵਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ,
ਸੋਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੇਅਪਨੈਗ੍ਰਿਹਿਕੋਫਿਰਿਜੀਵਤਜਾਨਨਪਾਯੋ॥੨੨੧੬॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਿਆ ॥੨੨੧੬॥
Any powerful warrior, taking his bow and arrows in his hands and in fury, fell upon him, the poet Shyam says that he could not return alive.2216.
ਗੋਕੁਲਨਾਥਜੂਬੈਰਿਨਸੋਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਜਬਹੀਰਨਮਾਡਿਯੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਆਰੰਭ ਕੀਤਾ,
ਜੇਤਿਕਸਤ੍ਰਨਸਾਮੁਹੇਭੇਰਿਸਿਸੋਸਭਿਗਿਧਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਾਲਨਬਾਡਿਯੋ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਵੈਰੀ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ (ਦਾ ਮਾਸ) ਗਿੱਧਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਦੜਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਹੈ।
When Krishna, the Lord of Gokul fought with his enemies, then all those enemies who were in front of him, he killed them in his anger, distributed them amongst the vultures and jackals
ਪਤਿਰਥੀਗਜਿਬਾਜਘਨੇਬਿਨੁਪ੍ਰਾਨਕੀਏਕੋਊਜੀਤਨਛਾਡਿਯੋ॥
ਪੈਦਲ, ਰਥ ਵਾਲੇ, ਹਾਥੀ, ਘੋੜੇ ਆਦਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਛਡਿਆ।
ਦੇਵਸਰਾਹਤਭੇਸਭਹੀਸੁਭਲੇਭਗਵਾਨਅਖੰਡਨਖਾਡਿਯੋ॥੨੨੧੭॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਖੰਡੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਡ ਖੰਡ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੨੧੭॥
He made many warriors on foot and on chariots lifeless and also killed many elephants and horses and did not let anyone go alive, all the gods also praised him that Krishna had destroyed even the indestructible warriors.2217.
ਜੀਤੇਸਭੈਭਯਭੀਤਭਏਤਜਿਆਹਵਕੋਸਭਹੀਭਟਭਾਗੇ॥
(ਜੋ) ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ, (ਉਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਭੈ ਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ।
The conquered and frightened warriors left fighting and fled away
ਠਾਢੋਬਨਾਸੁਰਥੋਜਿਹਠਉਰਸਭੈਚਲਿਕੈਤਿਹਪਾਇਨਲਾਗੇ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਬਾਣਾਸੁਰ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਸੀ, ਸਾਰੇ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪਏ।
And where banasura was standing, they came there and rolled down at his feet
ਛੂਟਗਯੋਸਭਹੂਨਤੇਧੀਰਜਤ੍ਰਾਸਹਿਕੇਰਸਮੈਅਨੁਰਾਗੇ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੀਰਜ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੈ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਗਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
On account of fear, the endurance of all of them ended and they were saying,
