ਜੈਸੇਬਛੁਰਾਬਿਲਲਾਤਮਾਤਮਿਲਬੇਕਉਬੰਧਨਕੈਬਸਿਕਛੁਬਸੁਨਬਸਾਤਹੈ।
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਛਾ ਮਾਂ ਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਅੜੌਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਬੰਧਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਰੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਕੜਿਆ ਹੋਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਓਸ ਦਾ ਕੁਛ ਵੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲ ਸਕਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ।
Just as a calf writhes and wriggles to meet his mother but tethered with rope makes him helpless.
ਜੈਸੇਤਉਬਿਗਾਰੀਚਾਹੈਭਵਨਗਵਨਕੀਓਪਰਬਸਿਪਰੇਚਿਤਵਤਹੀਬਿਹਾਤਹੈ।
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੇਰ ਵਿਗਾਰੇ ਫੜਿਆ ਆਦਮੀ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਾ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਪਰਾਈ ਅਧੀਨਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਂ, ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਚਿਤਵਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਬੀਤ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Just as a person caught in forced or unpaid labour wants to go home and spends time planning while remaining in other's control.

ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਜੋਗਨ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰੰਤੂ ਕੁਲ ਲੱਜਿਆ ਦੇ ਕੁੰਡੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਓਸ ਪਾਸ ਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕ੍ਯਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਅੰਦਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤਾਂਘਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੁਬਲਾ ਪਤਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Just as a wife separated from her husband wants love and union but cannot do so for fear of family shame and thus loses her physical attraction.

ਤਿਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦਿਆਂ ਚਰਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਣ ਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਆਗ੍ਯਾ ਦਾ ਬੱਧਾ ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਪਿਆ ਬ੍ਯਾਕੁਲ ਹੋਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੫੨੦॥
Similarly a true disciple wants to enjoy the pleasures of the refuge of True Guru but bound by his command he wanders around dejectedly in another place. (520)
