ਮੇਰੇ ਇਸੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਇਸ ਉਤੇ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਤਿਲਕ ਲਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
My beloved master used to feel pleased seeing my forehead. Adoring it, he used to put mark of consecration on it and ask me to see it.

ਇਸੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਮਲ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਛ ਮੱਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
My beloved then used to keep her soft hands on my forehead and with loving stories used to please me-the arrogant one.
ਯਾਹੀਮਸਤਕਨਾਹੀਨਾਹੀਕਰਿਭਾਗਤੀਹੀਧਾਇਧਾਇਹੇਤਕਰਿਉਰਹਿਲਗਾਵਤੇ।
ਫਿਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਦੌੜ ਦੌੜ ਕੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
I used to run away saying No! No! and chasing me, he used to hug me very lovingly resting my forehead on his chest.

ਫਿਰ ਉਹੋ ਮੱਥਾ ਹੁਣ ਧੁਨ ਧੁਨ ਕੇ ਰੋ ਉਠਦੀ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਪਤੀ ਜੀ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਖਾਂਦੇ ॥੫੭੬॥
But now on separation, I lament and cry with the same forehead, but my beloved master does not even appear in my dreams. (576)
