ਜੈਸੇਅੰਨਾਦਿਆਦਿਅੰਤਪਰਯੰਤਹੰਤਸਗਲਸੰਸਾਰਕੋਆਧਾਰਭਯੋਤਾਂਹੀਸੈਂ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਅੰਨ ਆਦਿਕ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਅਖੀਰ ਤੱਕ ਮਾਰੀਂਦੇ ਕੁਟੀਂਦੇ ਭਾਵ ਦੁੱਖ ਉਠਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਇਸੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਅਧਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Just as grains are beaten and crushed right from the beginning and having lost their identity they become the support and sustenance of the whole world.
ਜੈਸੇਤਉਕਪਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਸਦੇਤਨਉਦਾਸਕਾਢੈਜਗਤਕੀਓਟਭਏਅੰਬਰਦਿਵਾਹੀਸੈਂ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਕਪਾਹ ਝੰਬੀਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੱਢਦੀ, ਤਦੇ ਹੀ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਪਰਦੇ ਕੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
Just as cotton bears the pain of ginning and spinning and loses its identity to become cloth and cover the bodies of the people of the world.
ਜੈਸੇਆਪਾਖੋਇਜਲਮਿਲੈਸਭਿਬਰਨਮੈਂਖਗਮ੍ਰਿਗਮਾਨਸਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਗਤਯਾਹੀਸੈਂ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਾ ਭਾਵ ਗੁਆਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਇਤਨਾ ਕਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਪੰਛੀ, ਪਸ਼ੂ ਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਗਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Just as water loses its identity and becomes one with all colours and bodies and this character of destroying its own identity makes it capable of satiating others need.
ਤੈਸੇਮਨਸਾਧਿਸਾਧਿਸਾਧਨਾਕੈਸਾਧਭਏਯਾਹੀਤੇਸਕਲਕੌਉਧਾਰਅਵਗਾਹੀਸੈਂ।੫੮੧।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਾਧੂ ਲੋਕ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਧ ਸਾਧ ਕੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਇਸੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਉਧਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਨਿਰਣੈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੫੮੧॥
Similarly, those who took consecration from the True Guru and practiced Naam Simran to discipline their minds become superior persons. They are the emancipator of the whole world by attaching them with Guru. (581)
