ਲੋਚਨਅਨੂਪਰੂਪਦੇਖਿਮੁਰਛਾਤਭਏਸੇਈਮੁਖਬਹਿਰਿਓਬਿਲੋਕਧ੍ਯਾਨਧਾਰਿਹੈ।
ਅਤਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇਤਰ ਮੂਰਛਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ; ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਹੋ ਮੁਖੜਾ ਜਦ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਲ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
O friend! seeing the beautiful form of the beloved, I had become unconscious. Seeing that radiant face again in my inner self, my inner consciousness has anchored on to the stable peace.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਬਚਨਸੁਨਿਸ੍ਰਵਨਬਿਮੋਹੇਆਲੀਤਾਹੀਮੁਖਬੈਨਸੁਨਸੁਰਤਸਮਾਰਿਹੈ।
ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਕੰਨ ਮੋਹੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ; ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੋਂ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਰਤ ਪਏ ਸੰਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
O friend! hearing whose ambrosial words, my ears had gone into raptures, now with the ambrosial words from the same tongue entering my consciousness, my inner self has become engrossed in His Naam Simran.
ਜਾਪੈਬੇਨਤੀਬਖਾਨਿਜਿਹਬਾਥਕਤਭਈਤਾਹੀਕੇਬੁਲਾਏਪੁਨਬੇਨਤੀਉਚਾਰਿਹੈ।
ਜਿਸ ਅਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜੀਭ ਥਕ ਗਈ ਸੀ; ਹੁਣ ਉਸੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਬੁਅਲਾਇਆਂ ਫਿਰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗ ਪਈ ਹੈ।
The beloved Lord praying to whom my tongue had got tired, I am praying non-stop to call that Lord on the bed of my heart.
ਜੈਸੇਮਦਪੀਏਗ੍ਯਾਨਧ੍ਯਾਨਬਿਸਰਨਹੋਇਤਾਹੀਮਦਅਚਵਤਚੇਤਨਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਹੈ।੬੬੬।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਮਲ ਪੀਤਿਆਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਸਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਭਾਵ ਬਿਹੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ; ਤਿਵੇਂ ਉਹੀ ਅਮਲ ਪੀਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਤ੍ਰੀਕਾ ਭੀ ਹੈ ॥੬੬੬॥
Just as consuming some intoxicating substance, all awareness and consciousness is lost, (a man becomes unconscious), now drinking it in the form of Naam Amrit, it has become a means of inner consciousness. (666)
