ਸਕਲਕਟੇਭਟਕਟਕਕੇਪਾਇਕਰਥਹੈਕੁੰਭ॥
ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ-ਪੈਦਲ, ਰਥਾਂ, ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
“All the warriors of the army, those on foot, on chariots, horses and elephants have been killed.”,
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਬਚਨਅਚਰਜਹ੍ਵੈਕੋਪਕੀਓਨ੍ਰਿਪਸੁੰਭ॥੧੦੪॥
ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ ਸੁੰਭ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ॥੧੦੪॥
Hearing these words and in astonishment, the king Sumbh became furious.104.,
ਚੰਡਮੁੰਡਦ੍ਵੈਦੈਤਤਬਲੀਨੇਸੁੰਭਿਹਕਾਰਿ॥
ਸੁੰਭ ਨੇ ਤਦ ਚੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੰਡ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ,
Then the king called two demons Chand and Mund,
ਚਲਿਆਏਨ੍ਰਿਪਸਭਾਮਹਿਕਰਿਲੀਨੇਅਸਿਢਾਰ॥੧੦੫॥
(ਜੋ) ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਏ ॥੧੦੫॥
Who came in the king’s court, holding sword and shield in their hands. 105.,
ਅਭਬੰਦਨਦੋਨੋਕੀਓਬੈਠਾਏਨ੍ਰਿਪਤੀਰਿ॥
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ (ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ) ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ('ਅਭਬੰਦਨ') ਕੀਤਾ, ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬਿਠਾ ਲਿਆ
Both of them bowed in obeisance to the king, who asked them to sit near him.,
ਪਾਨਦਏਮੁਖਤੇਕਹਿਓਤੁਮਦੋਨੋਮਮਬੀਰ॥੧੦੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਪਾਨ (ਦਾ ਬੀੜਾ) ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਯੋਧਾ ਹੋ ॥੧੦੬॥
And presenting them the seasoned and folded betel leaf, he uttered thus from his mouth, “Both of you are great heroes.”106.
ਨਿਜਕਟਕੋਫੈਂਟਾਦਇਓਅਰੁਜਮਧਰਕਰਵਾਰ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਆਪਣਾ ਕਮਰ-ਕੱਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਟਾਰ ਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ
The king gave them his waist-girdle, dagger and sword (and said),
ਲਿਆਵਹੁਚੰਡੀਬਾਧਕੈਨਾਤਰਡਾਰੋਮਾਰ॥੧੦੭॥
(ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ) ਚੰਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਿਆਓ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਓ ॥੧੦੭॥
“Arrest and bring Chandi otherwise kill her.”107.,

ਕੋਪਚੜੇਰਨਿਚੰਡਅਉਮੁੰਡਸੁਲੈਚਤੁਰੰਗਨਸੈਨਭਲੀ॥
ਚੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੰਡ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਚਤੁਰੰਗਨੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਚੰਡੀ ਨਾਲ) ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ (ਚੜ੍ਹ ਚਲੇ)।
Chand and Mund, with great ire, marched towards the battlefield, alongwith four types of fine army.,
ਤਬਸੇਸਕੇਸੀਸਧਰਾਲਰਜੀਜਨੁਮਧਿਤਰੰਗਨਿਨਾਵਹਲੀ॥
ਤਦ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਨਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਡੋਲ ਗਈ ਮਾਨੋ ਨਦੀ ('ਤਰੰਗਨਿ') ਵਿਚ ਬੇੜੀ ਡੋਲਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
At that time, the earth shook on the head of Sheshnaga like the boat in the stream.,
ਖੁਰਬਾਜਨਧੂਰਉਡੀਨਭਿਕੋਕਵਿਕੇਮਨਤੇਉਪਮਾਨਟਲੀ॥
ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੁਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਲ ਉਡੀ ਧੂੜ (ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ) ਕਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਉਪਮਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ;
The dust which rose towards the sky with the hooves of the horses, the poet firmly imagined in his mind,
ਭਵਭਾਰਅਪਾਰਨਿਵਾਰਨਕੋਧਰਨੀਮਨੋਬ੍ਰਹਮਕੇਲੋਕਚਲੀ॥੧੦੮॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਪਾਰ ਭਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੀ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੦੮॥
That the earth is going towards the city of God in order to supplicate for the removal of its enormous burden.108.,

ਚੰਡਮੁੰਡਦੈਤਨਦੁਹੂੰਸਬਨਪ੍ਰਬਲਦਲੁਲੀਨ॥
ਚੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੰਡ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ) ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬਲ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਲ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ।
Both the demons Chand and Mund took a great army of warriors with them.,
ਨਿਕਟਿਜਾਇਗਿਰਘੇਰਿਕੈਮਹਾਕੁਲਾਹਲਕੀਨ॥੧੦੯॥
ਪਰਬਤ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੂਬ ਹੱਲਾ-ਗੁੱਲਾ ਮਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੦੯॥
On reaching near the mountain, they besieged it and raised great furore.109.,

ਜਬਕਾਨਸੁਨੀਧੁਨਿਦੈਤਨਕੀਤਬਕੋਪੁਕੀਓਗਿਰਜਾਮਨਮੈ॥
ਜਦ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੌਲਾ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ।
When the goddess heard the tumult of demons, she was filled with great rage in her mind.,
ਚੜਿਸਿੰਘਸੁਸੰਖਬਜਾਇਚਲੀਸਭਿਆਯੁਧਧਾਰਤਬੈਤਨਮੈ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ-ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ, ਸੰਖ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ (ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਵਧ) ਚਲੀ।
She moved immediately, riding on her lion, blowing her conch and carrying all the weapons on her body.,
ਗਿਰਤੇਉਤਰੀਦਲਬੈਰਨਕੈਪਰਯੌਉਪਮਾਉਪਜੀਮਨਮੈ॥
ਪਰਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਰ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਲ ਉਤੇ (ਇੰਜ) ਪਈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ
She descended from the mountain on the forces of the enemy and the poet felt,
ਨਭਤੇਬਹਰੀਲਖਿਛੂਟਪਰੀਜਨੁਕੂਕਕੁਲੰਗਨਕੇਗਨਮੈ॥੧੧੦॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਕੂੰਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਝਪਟਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੦॥
That the falcon hath swooped down from the sky on the flock of cranes and sparrows.110.,
ਚੰਡਕੁਵੰਡਤੇਬਾਨਛੁਟੇਇਕਤੇਦਸਸਉਤੇਸਹੰਸਤਹਬਾਢੇ॥
ਚੰਡੀ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੇ ਤੀਰ ਇਕ ਤੋਂ ਦਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੌ ਤੋਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ (ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ) ਵਧੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
One arrow shot from the bow of Chandi increases in number to ten, one hundred and one thousand.,
ਲਛਕੁਹੁਇਕਰਿਜਾਇਲਗੇਤਨਦੈਤਨਮਾਝਰਹੇਗਡਿਗਾਢੇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਜਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਕੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ (ਉਥੇ) ਗਡੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
Then becomes one lakh and pierces its target of demons’ bodies and remain fixed there.,
ਕੋਕਵਿਤਾਹਿਸਰਾਹਕਰੈਅਤਿਸੈਉਪਮਾਜੁਭਈਬਿਨੁਕਾਢੇ॥
ਕਿਹੜਾ ਕਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਢਿਆਂ (ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੀ) ਵਡੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਇਉਂ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ
Without extracting those arrows, which poet can praise them and make an appropriate comparison.,
ਫਾਗੁਨਿਪਉਨਕੇਗਉਨਭਏਜਨੁਪਾਤੁਬਿਹੀਨਰਹੇਤਰੁਠਾਢੇ॥੧੧੧॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਫੱਗਣ ਦੀ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਚਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਪਤਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੧੧॥
It appears that with the blowing of the wind of Phalgun, the trees are standing without the leaves.111.,
ਮੁੰਡਲਈਕਰਵਾਰਹਕਾਰਕੈਕੇਹਰਿਕੇਅੰਗਅੰਗਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ॥
ਮੁੰਡ (ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੇ) ਤਲਵਾਰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਲਲਕਾਰਾ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਅੰਗ ਉਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
The demon Mund held his sword and shouting loudly, the struck many blows on the limbs of the lion.,
ਫਿਰਦਈਤਨਦਉਰਕੇਗਉਰਿਕੋਘਾਇਲਕੈਨਿਕਸੀਅੰਗਧਾਰੇ॥
ਫਿਰ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਦੁਰਗਾ ('ਗਉਰਿ') ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਮਾਰੀ (ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਅੰਗ ਵਿਚੋਂ (ਲਹੂ ਦੀ) ਧਾਰ ਨਿਕਲੀ।
Then very swiftly, he gave a blow on the body of the goddess, wounding it and then drew the sword out.,
ਸ੍ਰਉਨਭਰੀਥਹਰੈਕਰਿਦੈਤਕੇਕੋਉਪਮਾਕਵਿਅਉਰਬਿਚਾਰੇ॥
ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੜੀ (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਦੈਂਤ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਥਰਥਰਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। (ਇਸ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ) ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਕਵੀ ਪਿਆ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ (ਪਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਇੰਜ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ)
Covered with blood, the sword in the hand of the demon is vibrating, what comparison the poet can give except,
ਪਾਨਗੁਮਾਨਸੋਖਾਇਅਘਾਇਮਨੋਜਮੁਆਪੁਨੀਜੀਭਨਿਹਾਰੇ॥੧੧੨॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਪੇਟ ਭਰਨ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਜਮਰਾਜ ਪਾਨ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੀਭ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੨॥
Yama, the god of death, after eating the betel leaf to his satisfaction, is proudly watching his protruded tongue.112.,
ਘਾਉਕੈਦੈਤਚਲਿਓਜਬਹੀਤਬਦੇਵੀਨਿਖੰਗਤੇਬਾਨਸੁਕਾਢੇ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਦੈਂਤ (ਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ) ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਕਰਕੇ (ਵਾਪਸ) ਚਲਿਆ ਤਦੋਂ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਭੱਥੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਤੀਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ।
When the demon returned after wounding the goddess, she took out a shaft from her quiver.,
ਕਾਨਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਲਉਖੈਚਕਮਾਨਚਲਾਵਤਏਕਅਨੇਕਹੁਇਬਾਢੇ॥
ਕਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਨ ਤਕ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜੋ ਵਧ ਕੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
She pulled the bow upto her ear and let go the arrow, which increased enormously in numbers.,
ਮੁੰਡਲੈਢਾਲਦਈਮੁਖਓਟਿਧਸੇਤਿਹਮਧਿਰਹੇਗਡਿਗਾਢੇ॥
ਮੁੰਡ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਨੇ ਢਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਓਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ, (ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤੀਰ ਢਾਲ) ਵਿਚ ਧਸ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਗਡੇ ਗਏ
The demon Mund put his shield before face and the arrow are fixed in the shield.,
ਮਾਨਹੁਕੂਰਮਪੀਠਪੈਨੀਠਭਏਸਹਸਫਨਿਕੇਫਨਠਾਢੇ॥੧੧੩॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਕੱਛੂ ਦੀ ਪਿਠ ਉਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਨਾਗ ਦੇ ਫਨ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੧੩॥
It seemed that seated on the back of the Tortoise, the hoods of Sheshnaga are standing erect.113.,
ਸਿੰਘਹਿਪ੍ਰੇਰਕੈਆਗੈਭਈਕਰਿਮੈਅਸਿਲੈਬਰਚੰਡਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ॥
ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰ ਕੇ ਚੰਡੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ (ਬਰ) ਤਲਵਾਰ ਸੂਤ ਕੇ ਅਗੇ ਹੋਈ।
Caressing the lion, the goddess moved forward and holding the sword in hand, she sustained herself,
ਮਾਰਿਕੇਧੂਰਿਕੀਏਚਕਚੂਰਗਿਰੇਅਰਿਪੂਰਮਹਾਰਨਪਾਰਿਓ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ (ਪੂਰ) ਨੂੰ ਚਕਨਾਚੂਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਧੂੜ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਘਮਸਾਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਇਆ।
And began a terrible war, killing rolling in dust and mashing innumerable warriors of the enemy.,
ਫੇਰਿਕੇਘੇਰਿਲਇਓਰਨਮਾਹਿਸੁਮੁੰਡਕੋਮੁੰਡਜੁਦਾਕਰਿਮਾਰਿਓ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਘੁੰਮ ਕੇ ਮੁੰਡ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ (ਧੜ ਨਾਲੋਂ) ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Taking back the lion, she encircled the enemy from the front and gave such a blow that the head of Mund was separated from his body,
ਐਸੇਪਰਿਓਧਰਿਊਪਰਜਾਇਜਿਉਬੇਲਹਿਤੇਕਦੂਆਕਟਿਡਾਰਿਓ॥੧੧੪॥
(ਉਹ) ਧਰਤੀ ਉਪਰ ਇੰਜ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵੇਲ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਦੂ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਸੁਟਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੪॥
Which fell on the ground, like the pumpkin cut off from the creeper.114.,
ਸਿੰਘਚੜੀਮੁਖਸੰਖਬਜਾਵਤਜਿਉਘਨਮੈਤੜਤਾਦੁਤਿਮੰਡੀ॥
ਸ਼ੇਰ ਉਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਖ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੋਈ (ਦੇਵੀ ਇੰਜ ਲਗ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ) ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਫਬ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
The goddess riding on the lion and blowing the conch with her mouth seems like the lightning glistening among dark clouds.,
ਚਕ੍ਰਚਲਾਇਗਿਰਾਇਦਇਓਅਰਿਭਾਜਤਦੈਤਬਡੇਬਰਬੰਡੀ॥
ਚਕ੍ਰ ਚਲਾ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਡੇ ਵਡੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਦੈਂਤ ਭਜ ਗਏ।
She killed the running superb mighty warriors with her disc.,
ਭੂਤਪਿਸਾਚਨਿਮਾਸਅਹਾਰਕਰੈਕਿਲਕਾਰਖਿਲਾਰਕੇਝੰਡੀ॥
ਭੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਸ਼ਾਚ ਮਾਸ ਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
The ghosts and goblins are eating the flesh of the dead, raising loud dhouts.,
ਮੁੰਡਕੋਮੁੰਡਉਤਾਰਦਇਓਅਬਚੰਡਕੋਹਾਥਲਗਾਵਤਚੰਡੀ॥੧੧੫॥
(ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ) ਮੁੰਡ ਦੈਂਤ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਹੁਣ ਚੰਡ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਲਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ) ॥੧੧੫॥
Removing the head of Mund, now Chandi is preparing to deal with Chand.115.,

ਮੁੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਤਦ ਇਹ ਕੀਤਾ

ਮਾਰਿਬਿਦਾਰਦਈਸਭਸੈਣਸੁਚੰਡਿਕਾਚੰਡਸੋਆਹਵਕੀਨੋ॥
ਕਿ ਚੰਡ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਲੈਬਰਛੀਕਰਮੈਅਰਿਕੋਸਿਰਕੈਬਰੁਮਾਰਿਜੁਦਾਕਰਿਦੀਨੋ॥
ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਬਰਛੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧੜ ਨਾਲੋਂ) ਵਖ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
